A few shops

In Belgium:

I could not find an internet address, but this is an excellent shop in real life:

PHOTO CINE HOUSE SPRL
RUE DU MIDI 154
1000 BRUXELLES
Tel 02/511.66.08

They are competent, can give advice and have a lot in stock (accessories, most bodies and lenses, Nikon, Sigma...). The prices are a bit high for Europe (typical problem in Belgium and in France) but I recommend them because of the service and the immediate availability of most of the equipment.

A subsidiary of the same shop in the Netherlands. Interesting prices for Belgium. A lot in stock, usually. The only problem they have is the opening hours: closing at 17:30 is ridiculous nowadays (typically Dutch BTW). Most people with the money to buy the equipment they sell work long hours and can never go shopping before 18:30 or 19:00... I think they could have much more business by extending their opening hours, but that's just me.

An excellent shop specialized in everything about light (strobes, lights, studio equipment, tripods, etc...) A lot of choice and very reasonable prices.

In Germany

Interesting prices, excellent service, very small shop and the owner is fluent in German (of course), Dutch and English.
In fact one of my favorite shops, I bought a LOT of equipment from them. Good advice, good service. Highly recommended.

In the Netherlands:

Internet shop, competent owner, good service, prices are rather low, no shop.
This one just closed recently = not available anymore - a pity.

My favourite shop in Vancouver - they have a number of shops at different locations in the city and they have a good selection of used equipment. A bit expensive, though.

The best shop in Toronto. They have a lot, sales people are knowledgeable. Again, not the cheapest solution but highly recommended. They have a lot available in stock.
