An ideal travel solution if you want to take a few pics on a tripod without taking one with you.
This mini tripod comes in a small carrying pouch, is reasonably light and can be extended to an height of approx 30cm (1 foot). A small head is also standard in the package and is good enough to carry a D200 with grip and a normal lens like the 18-200VR or the 12-24. Can be used on a table or even on the ground for special effects. As a frequent traveller for my job, this is the only solution if I want to carry a tripod.
