The MC-36 remote control
Something very usefiul for
night photography or anything needing a slow shutter speed: the wired
remote control for the D200. The one I selected was the MC-36 but in
fact it is a kind of overkill because it has a programmable timer with
a functionality similar to what is in fact available in the standard
menus of the D200. This timer functionality is useful for other
camera's with the same 10 pin connector. The remote is
connected to the camera via the 10 pin connector and uses standard thin
AAA batteries.
Note that Nikon camera's use
different types of remote controls. The D70 uses a simple
infrared remote control.
The D200 used wired remotes or a
remote kit
consisting of a wired module and a small remote.
