The FM camera is one of the traditional film camera, a very popular one, still used nowadays. This remarkable camera has, like many others of that generation, a big advantage: it can work without any power source. Everything is mechanical. Only one exception: the metering (optional). If you work full manual, with an external meter, no problem, this camera will work in the desert.
I have been lucky to find a mint copy of that camera, almost never used:
The top view, with an old 50mm f2 lens. The front view. The pros
- small and lightThe cons
- need an external meter or a battery to meterThis has become my ultimate backup camera and a nice collector.
