General impression
A professional lens, very well built and delivering excellent images. This lens has been replaced by the more recent autofocus version, very expensive and the favorite lens of many professional portrait photographers. But don't underestimate this good old manual version.

- excellent build quality and smoothness of the rings
Cons
- like many older lenses, a little bit of softness and CA fully open
- huge and heavy
- no standard sunhood delivered
